Associated Content – Get to work writing content for AC!

Associated Content is a great site for those just beginning to step into the world of freelance writing. My first foray into the online world of writing was through Associated Content. AC can help you build a portfolio that you can then use to help you get more work at home writing for other sites.

There are several different ways to write for Associated Content. One is to submit your article to be considered for upfront payment. The pay rate for upfronts can vary to as low as 99 cents but is often $3 to $20 per accepted article. Once your article has been published you will also receive a minimum performance payment of $1.50 per 1000 page views.

You can also submit your articles to Associated Content only for Performance Payments. This is a great way to display, and make money off of, poems, opinion pieces,or articles that were not accepted for upfront payment.

While I do not write for Associated Content as much as I used to, I still add an article here and there. I am in the top 1000 of contributors and I would like to keep that! I now use it to display articles that were not accepted elsewhere, ideas that I am trying out, and as an outlet for articles that I want to write, instead of article ideas that are given to me or have to fit a certain format. This is one for the few legitimate work at home opportunities out there.
