Frugal Christmas Trees – Cheap Ornaments

At Christmas, decorating trees with ornaments can cost even more than the tree, but it is possible to use cheap ornaments. My frugal Christmas tree has a mixture of expensive and cheap ornaments and my table Christmas tree as well.
Look at sales for cheap ornaments or buy them after the holidays. You can also ask your friends and family for ornaments they may be willing to part with or ask for ornaments as gifts. Ornaments are a great cheap Christmas gift!
My Christmas tree and my table Christmas tree were once decorated almost entirely in red ribbons. The husband and I did not have many ornaments, and could not afford much, so I tied red ribbon I had into bows and hung them on the tree. Think about what you have around your house that you can use. You may have old fabric that needs a use or your yard could be littered with pine cones that could be used around your home as Christmas decor or spray painted for a cheap ornament (these are also great frugal Christmas gifts!) It doesn’t take much to have a frugal holiday!
Remember that at Christmas, decorating trees does not have to break the bank, it can be frugal and can be just as beautiful as an expensive tree!
