Frugal Living Tips: Have a Meatless Meal

Frugal living tips should extend to your cooking as well. For some people this sounds crazy but it does not necessarily mean turning yourself into a vegetarian either. Just once a week cut out the meat. This would give you four meatless meals a month and not only is it good on your wallet but its good for your health as well. Beans and cornbread would be a great meatless meal and the bean soup packages often come with ham seasoning so while you may not have ham in the beans you at least get the taste of ham. Other great meal ideas would be to have bean burritos, cheese quesadillas or beans and rice. Give it a chance and you may find that your meatless meals become some of your frugal favorites!
