I love casseroles but I don’t get them very often as the hubby isn’t much of a food mixer so I generally only have them for lunches or nights when he is working late (aka Poker Night).
I enjoy the Tuna Noodle Casserole as it reminds me of the Tuna Helper I had growing up before we knew I had a dairy allergy. This is a great recipe whether you live dairy free or not and is much cheaper than purchasing the box meals at the store! A great recipe to save money!
Frugal Tip for this Tuna Noodle Casserole recipe
While tuna is often the best option for a tuna dish you can easily substitute canned salmon. You could probably even add in canned chicken if you had it though I have never tried it!
*All of my Cheap Dinner Recipes can be used with dairy or made into dairy free recipe versions. I have a milk allergy while my husband does not so I often try to make recipes in which substitions can be made either way. My Cheap Dinner Recipes are also made to be as frugal as possible.
