Brisket is one of the best leftovers because it’s good no matter when you eat it!
Frugal Tips for Brisket
Brisket isn’t really ever a frugal meat so only make it as a treat and buy it when it goes on sale. We have a grocery store in town that will put it on sale for buy one, get one a couple times a year and I try to buy two to four at those times and freeze them.
*All of my leftovers recipes can be used with dairy or made into dairy free recipe versions. I have a milk allergy while my husband does not so I often try to make recipes in which substitions can be made either way. My leftovers recipes are also made to be as frugal as possible.

Gather It Up!
Leftover Brisket (add barbecue sauce if you cooked it without)
Leftover Mashed Potatoes
Leftover Green Beans
Cook It Up!
There isn’t really any cooking to this recipe. Layer the mashed potatoes, green beans, then the leftover brisket in a freezer dish. Freeze until needed!
Serve It Up!
Thaw when needed and microwave on a separate plate until it reaches the desired temperature.
